Steel baths from Roca are oven baked vitreous enamelled baths produced in the same way as the original cast iron baths. The main benefit of purchsing a steel bath is that you get the feel and heat retention properties of a cast iron bath at a fraction of the cost. Steel baths are availble in differing guages of steel, as you would expect the heavier the guage the more robust the bath. As the baths are vitreous (glass) enamelled the baths need to be handled with care. When accepting the delivery of your bath we would advocate that you inspect the bath for any transit damage, always adhere to the cleaning instructions ie: no chemical cleaning agents just use a soap based cleaners Stardrops or Fairy washing up liquid etc. Throughout the plumbing industry insallation of the product is an acceptance of quality so always check for damage prior to the final insallation. Claims for damages after installation will not be accepted.
