Conditions of Sale
1. These Conditions shall apply to all sales of goods made by the company and shall be binding on all purchases.
2. OWNERSHIP OF GOODS The ownership of all goods sold by the company to the purchaser shall remain the property of the company until all said goods are fully paid for and the purchaser shall store the goods in the original packaging. The company shall be entitled to repossess any goods sold to the purchaser in respect of which payment is overdue.
3. PRICE The price of goods shall be those ruling at the date of sale and goods will not be delivered until paid for in full or an arrangement has been agreed whereby a deposit of 20% has been paid in which case the balance must be C.O.D. (cheques are not acceptable) 4. DELIVERY The time, if any, specified for the commencement of the delivery shall be deemed to be variable, if delays are occasioned by force majeure, strikes, lockouts, accidents, or any other cause beyond the company’s control. If delivery is not possible due to the fact that no one is available to accept or assist with the delivery after prior arrangements have been confirmed the company reserves the right to make a delivery charge before redelivering the goods. Goods are delivered only to ground floor locations only on the understanding that someone will be available to assist the driver with the offloading of heavy and bulky items. 5. QUALITY OF GOODS Goods supplied are not tested and no warranty is given nor shall any warranty be implied to the effect that goods supplied are suitable for any specific purpose, the company’s liability in respect of any defects in the goods shall be limited to an amount not exceeding the invoiced price of such goods. No claims in respect of defects or missing items shall be considered by the company unless made within 48 hours of the date of the delivery of the goods concerned. 6. RETURNS Returns will only be accepted if they are returned in their original packing intact and in the exact same condition as they were dispatched. All returns are subject to a re-stocking charge of 20% of the purchase price excluding carriage, which will be the responsibility of the returnee. We shall have no liability to you for any failure or delay in supply or delivery or for any damage or Defect to goods supplied or delivered hereunder that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control.
